I am a graduate of Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. I completed the certification in the Complete Decongestive Therapy Course of 135 hours. This certifies me in manual lymphatic drainage, complete decongestive therapy, and compression through wrapping and garments.

 

Currently, my main modality is Plastic Surgery Lymphatic Drainage massage. This utilizes manual lymphatic drainage techniques in multiple stages of pressure and application.

I work with those who have had:

I do the lymphatic evacuation if the client has open incisions (not on tummy tucks as the tissue is too fragile). This service is in the client's home or my office. The next stage is manual lymphatic drainage. This assists in moving the fluid through the lymph system and is absorbed naturally by the body. The next stage is deep tissue and myofascial massage worked with manual lymphatic massage. In the final stage, I add tools such as cupping or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. IASTM is the next step in gua sha, or skin scraping, in treating fibrotic tissue and for manual body contouring. Along this path of healing treatments,  there is also the availability of machine contouring. This is the utilization of Ultrasonic Cavitation (UC); Radiofrequency (RF); Electro-Muscular Stimulation (EMS); Vacuum Cupping (VC);  Microcurrent; LED Therapy; Vibration; and the use of Hot and Cold therapy.

During these sessions, the skin and tissue are always being evaluated for complications and healing. If something is found you will be told immediately. We also discuss nutrition, tricks for compression, and other subjects that invariably come up such as depression and Fluff Fairy.

As a massage therapist, I have worked in several demographics. I worked with the University of Montana-Western Wellness and Athletic Department with the college athletes. I have worked with professional athletes. I've also worked on ranches during hard seasons. Another modality I've worked with is  Cosmetic Surgery Aftercare doing deep tissue and manual lymphatic drainage. These same techniques have been applied to older surgical scars as well. Therapists often classify themselves as relaxation, deep tissue, or medical massage therapists; most modalities do fit in these categories. I consider myself a rehabilitation therapist; combining all of these into one integrative technique. I really look forward to working with you to attain and maintain wellness.

I am also a Shaman that does energy healing. I prefer to do this via Zoom. I have crystals available in my office for crystal healing. If you prefer your energy healing in person rather than via the internet that is certainly available.

 I find that I really enjoy connecting with others energetically. I have been a healer professionally now for more than 18 years. I began as a massage therapist. I then moved on to Reiki Master. In 2014 I became a Master Crystologist. I really connect with crystal healing. I can now call on crystals in healing remotely. I am a graduate of The Audacious Spirit Ministry Program (psychic shamanic healing and reading). I just want to soak up as much as I can possibly learn to help my clients and students. I teach courses in Meditation and Journaling, Chakra Basics and Crystal Healings. I do offer this online as well. I am the author of Chakra Basics.
